Musicality

My mom said i'm a bit weird because in my generation, i appreciate Classical Music when i'm supposed to listen to Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and all other pop music. Don't get me wrong but I really like Katy Perry and i also love to listen to pop music but in my iPod there is always a playlist for classical music. I even go to concerts that are classical in genre and never have i went to concerts of Pop music. Well, i would probably go if it's Katy Perry but it should be in Cebu not in Manila.
Just a year ago, i found a choir who sings classical music. They are called Libera and since then I have been an addict to their songs. A sample is:

Also, they had a concert here in Cebu and together with my mom and friends we went there. I wouldn't miss it for the world. It was held in Waterfront and luckily the date of their concert was my birthday so, going to the concert was my birthday gift from my mom. To top it all off, my bestfriend gave me a Libera CD with their signatures/autograph on it. It was the best! Furthermore, during the concert Libera sang a Filipino song which was Bayan Ko! I couldn't believe it at first then you hear there twang. It was funny because of how they pronounced it but their voices are really good. So again here is the Bayan Ko: Enjoy!

I think my appreciation of classical music was influenced more when i decided to enter our school choir and our supervisor made me change my perspective of music. Music is not just all about the tunes and the lyrics, it's also about who is it for, what for is this song about? It should not just express yourself but it should make the people listen to your point, to your belief and views. There are still a lot more on what music is really about and once you understand it, it'll pile up more and more.

Procrastination

Lately, I've been procrastinating and i know that this is not the right time to procrastinate because next week is already finals week.
They say procrastinating is a bad habit and i beg to disagree. Though i'm not really the type who procrastinates, but this habit is of great help to me. Procrastinating makes me "nanning"/work harder at the nick of time. Whenever the deadline is getting near, it's the time I work harder. This is the time where i feel the adrenaline rush. It feels very exciting for me sometimes whenever I get stressed because I know I'm doing something unlike when you're not stressed but you're really, really bored. I'd rather feel stressed than get bored to death.
People might say that I'm lazy or I'm not using my time well but I really don't care. Procrastinating brings out the best in me. Ironic right? but it's the truth.
When i was still in high school i did 2 projects, one is i used my time wisely and the other one i procrastinated. Both of them got the same results, almost perfect. So, i'd rather procrastinate but i'm not saying it's for forever. I still have a big life ahead of me and i'm not going to waste it to procrastinate. By the way, the projects were sewing stuff for TLE.
I also have to balance when to procrastinate and when it's not the right time to or I might end up being like her:
